11/09/2013   U13C v Broadford  Eire Og 1-04 Broadford 2-02

                                  Broadford snatched a last minute victory with a great point. Well done to Chloe Barry who left her regular spot between the posts to take up residence in the forward line where she finished the match with with a tally of 1-04, 1-03 from play & a pointed '45.

A draw,a win and a defeat was a good result from our first  outing in this competition. Josephs went on to play Scariff in a semi final, which the East Clare side won and then went on to win the cup. Well done to them. Well done also to Newmarket on Fergus and Kilmaley who contested the Senior 7s. NoF reached a semi final, while Kilmaley went on to take the honours with a great win. Congrats !!

The Éire Óg team was comprised of Katie Malone, Laura Brown, Aoife Sheehan, Orlaith Flynn, Orla McMahon, Orla Devitt and Grainne Nolan. Claire McMahon was present but injured.

18/09/2013  U16A v St.Josephs Doora Barefield Éire Og 4-05 St. Josephs 4-01

A hard fought win in a match where we seemed to be cruising to victory with a half time lead of 3-05 to no score.Our opponents were having none of it , however , and outscored us by 4-01 to a single Elana Bradley goal in the second half. Fortunately, we held on and came away with a 4 point victory.

22/09/2013  u13C v Whitegate Éire Óg 5-0 Whitegate 2-04

This was a thriller of a match, as was the case in our u14 clash with this Whitegate side. Happily, Éire Óg came out on top with fine scores from Elizabeth Russell (2-0), Emma Burke (1-0) and newcomer , Aine Galvin (2-0)

25/09/2013 U16A cup semi v Inagh Kilnamona Éire Óg 3-08 Inagh Kilnamona 10-08

Éire Óg suffered a heavy defeat to this superb Inagh Kilnamona side who are strong contenders to take the title this year. Well done to Éire Óg on putting up a great fight and battling on to the bitter end. This defeat sends us to the shield semi final which will be played in Eire Og on Wed 2nd October. Our opposition will be Newmarket on Fergus , who snatched victory from us in the qualifying rounds with a last minute goal.
